Biography[edit | edit source]

Molly Parker is a badass member of the Texas Rangers, a legendary (and traditionally male-dominated) law enforcement agency that tamed the Texas frontier and now serves as the elite investigative unit of the state police. A native Texan, Molly is descended from Cynthia Ann Parker, the nine-year-old American girl adopted by a Comanche war band after it massacred her family’s settlement in 1836. Molly grew up on the family ranch with her father, the local sheriff, so it is in her blood to protect and serve. Her fierce intelligence and strong feminine intuition, along with her Ranger training, enable her to get into the minds of the most dangerous female killers. A keen eye for detail and willingness to go “off-book” set her apart from her coworkers and astonish her criminal targets. If only her personal life was that easy – in that area she is struggling to conquer old demons (primarily, an abusive husband from whom she is not quite divorced) and to find a new love she can trust.
